We are thrilled to have partnered up with the iconic Cinema Museum to bring you an exciting season of Argentinian films.
Join us on Friday 20th March (Sol de Otoño), 17th April (La Ciénaga) and 15th May (Relatos Salvajes) for some memorable evenings of masterful Argentinian cinema, followed by inspiring film discussion in Spanish.
The venue will be the unique Cinema Museum (The Master’s House, 2 Dugard Way, London SE11 4TH), with its exceptional collection of artefacts, memorabilia and equipment that preserves the history and grandeur of cinema from the 1890s to the present day. The Museum has won the Most Loved Local Culture Spot award from the London listings magazine Time Out.
Each screening will be preceded by an introduction by Adam Feinstein, film writer and historian, who is writing a book on Argentina’s cinema. After each screening, the film discussion will be held at the Cinema Museum’s bar, where you will be able to buy drinks and Argentinian nibbles.
Ticket (£15) includes:
– Visit to the Cinema Museum (doors open at 6.30pm)
– Film introduction by Adam Feinstein (7.30pm to 7.45pm)
