Wow, how eventful these last few weeks have been! This Coronavirus has stirred up everyone’s lives. But it has also brought some amazing gestures of unity and solidarity!.
We might be physically distant, but we are not isolated.  We keep on adapting and changing to bring to your home the best Spanish lessons in London as well as our love and passion for our culture!
All our lessons have continued as usual online. Zoom offers excellent functionalities that ensure the best quality of teaching, exactly as if you were in the physical classroom (plus some added advantages!). We’ve had great feedback from all our students, even from those who at the beginning were a bit reluctant to use a virtual classroom!
In fact, the most mentioned perk is that it’s great to be able to keep on socialising and seeing your fellow students’ friendly faces in a moment when we are all living in our own bubbles. The virtual lessons are keeping us all connected and in touch!
We are also continuing with our social activities as usual, just holding them on Zoom!
This Saturday 28th March we’ll be learning about Picasso’s art in our “Picasso and Paper Workshop”. Halfway between a Spanish- and an Art History lesson, we will discuss Picasso’s career, his creative process, and his experiments on paper, from napkins to decorative wallpaper. You can still join us by signing up here!

And on Saturday 25th April, travel virtually to Madrid! Have you every wondered how an artist looks at paintings? We’ll discover the highlights of the Prado Museum in an interactive visit led by Spanish House London teacher and professional artist Raul. Observe, dissect, discuss, and enjoy the amazing virtual resources of the Prado Museum whilst you put your Spanish into gear.

Our Literature Workshops are also going ahead as usual. You already know our warm and charming Literature expert Veronica. She will delight us with her passion for the best Spanish and Latin American writers. Stay tuned for dates and times!

And a massive THANK YOU from all the Spanish House London teachers to all our students who support us with their great feedback and positive words. Seeing your friendly faces on the screen reminds us that we are not alone! You mean the world to us!!
